In 1996, major renovation took place, and again Hot Sulphur Springs Resort
is Colorado's finest hot springs and spa destinations. There are now 22
pools and private baths, which include two solarium pools, the therapy Elk
Pool, and a summer swimming pool.
The quaint mountain town of Hot Sulphur Springs, is located 1 hour and 45
minutes northwest of Denver via I-70 to Highway 40 and only 30 minutes
west of the Winter Park Ski Area (Colorado's busiest ski area); 10 minutes
from SolVista Ski Area; 60 minutes from Summit County Ski area, and just
over an hour and 45 minutes to Vail and Steamboat Springs. We are 30
minutes from Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby for
sailing and fishing. Only minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our guests are invited to wander our 80 acres, have a picnic, watch the
trains, and fish or raft the adjoining Colorado River. Gourmet and county
dining is available nearby.
Cross country-skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, golfing, hunting, 4-wheeling,
dog sled rides, mountain concerts, festivals, plays, rodeos, horseback
