We are known as one of the nation's oldest, largest and finest
natural hot mineral springs resort and spa.
Come visit, relax, and enjoy the sacred waters where the Ute
Indians once bathed, healed mind, body, and spirit.
In 1996, major renovation took place, and again Hot Sulphur
Springs Resort is Colorado's finest hot springs and spa destinations.
There are now 22 pools and private baths, which include a solarium
pool, the therapy Elk Pool, and a summer swimming pool.
Free pool use for
two days is included with the rooms when you stay in our
motel or our 1840's cabin.
The Springs are located at 7,600 feet elevation and have been
in operation continually for the past 140 years. The Resort adjoins
National Forest land and the Colorado River. We are only minutes
from Rocky Mountain National Park.
The quaint mountain town of Hot Sulphur Springs, is located
1 hour and 45 minutes northwest of Denver via I-70 to Highway
40 and only 30 minutes west of the Winter Park Ski Area (Colorado's
busiest ski area); 10 minutes from Sol Vista Ski Area; 60 minutes
from Summit County which has major skiing and sailing and just
over an hour to Vail and Steamboat Springs. We are 20 minutes
from Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Granby for sailing and fishing.
Our remodeled lodge has
16 spa areas, private baths and a lounge
with fireplace.
The Conference Area is ideal for yoga, workshops and meetings.
Our conference room will comfortably accommodate groups of 15 to 20 people.
NO smoking, drugs, alcohol or pets are allowed on the premises.

Our guests are invited to wander our 80 acres, have a picnic,
watch the trains, and fish or raft the adjoining Colorado River.

Cross country-skiing,
snowshoeing, hiking, golfing, hunting, 4-wheeling,
dog sled rides, mountain concerts, festivals, plays, rodeos, horseback
riding, hot air balloon rides, art classes and more are also available
in the county year 'round.
